It all began freshman year at Fairfield University, where Brooke and Jake first crossed paths. Both student-athletes—Brooke on the women’s soccer team and Jake on the baseball team—they quickly became friends through their shared love of sports and campus life. By the spring of freshman year, that friendship had turned into something more.

After graduation, life took them in different directions. Brooke moved back home to Boston to begin her nursing career, while Jake stayed at Fairfield to pursue his Master’s in Finance. Even with the miles between them, their relationship continued to grow stronger.

A year later, Jake began his career in finance in Connecticut, while Brooke continued nursing in Boston. After another year and a half of long-distance, Jake made the move to Boston—taking a new job and, most importantly, finally moving in with Brooke.

On July 19, 2025, Jake proposed to Brooke at Castle Hill Inn in Newport, Rhode Island—one of their favorite places to visit together. Surrounded by family and friends, it was a perfect day filled with love, laughter, and happy tears. Now, they couldn’t be more excited to celebrate their wedding and begin this next chapter together!
